Man Struck By Newark Fire Truck: Police

A man was struck by a fire truck on Newark on the evening of Thursday, Nov. 2, authorities said.

The adult male pedestrian was near Summit Street and Warren Street when he was hit at 7:47 p.m., Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. He was taken to University Hospital and is in stable condition, Fragé said

The incident remains under investigation, Fragé said.
